3rd October 2019. CHEA celebrated Wildlife Week India 2019 with students of Uma Lovely School, Nainital, Mr. Ghanshyam Pandey associated with Wipro Earthian Programme delivered a talk on the topic of "Climate Change and Our Biodiversity".

123rd Council meeting of CHEA is scheduled on 31st August 2019 at CHEA Dehradun Unit Office.

29th July 2019CHEA organised first Late Dr. Pushkin Phartiyal Memorial Lecture on "Preserving the Biodiversity and Natural Heritage of Nainital" at UGC-HRDC, Conference Hall, KU, Nainital. Renowned environmentalist Prof. Ajay S. Rawat and Padam Shri Prof. Shekhar Pathak were the key speakers of the event.

22nd May 2019 "International Day for Biological Diversity" was celebrated in Bhartiya Shaheed Sainik Vidyalaya (BSSV), Nainital. On this occasion renowned nature photographer and environmentalist Padma Shri Mr. Anup Sah delivered a pictorial lecture/presentation on various prospects of the biological diversity of Nainital and Himalaya, formerly MLA-Nainital Dr. N.S. Jantwal was the chief guest of the occasion.

16th December 2018, CHEA Headquater, Nainital. 37th Annual General Meeting held at CHEA's office, Nainital. The meeting was chaired by the chair of CHEA Dr. P. P. Dhayni.

12th - 13th December 2018, INSA, New Delhi. Workshop cum Discussion meeting under National Mission on Himalayan Studies - Indian Himalayan Timberline Project

11th December 2018, INSA, New Delhi. Celebrated International Mountain Day by organizing Workshop cum Brainstorming on the topic of "Himalaya Matters for Ecological and Economic Security"

1st October 2018, CHEA Headquater, Nainital. First meeting of newly constituted Council-2018-21 held at CHEA's office, Nainital. The meeting was chaired by the newly elected chair of CHEA Dr. P. P. Dhayni.

"SUNRAISE kick-off meeting - held in Bremen University, representatives of all the partner organisations met for first SUNRAISE Assembly, the kick-off meeting and, discussed and approved the details of the project implementation, modalities of project management, and the next steps."
